Bo Huang

Bo is a member of our Telecommunications, Media, Technology, and Advanced Industry Solutions practices.

With over 15 years of experience spanning management consulting and industry leadership, he helps organizations create value from AI in advanced industries. His work includes leading the delivery of domain-native AI solutions for semiconductor manufacturers.

Prior to joining Bain in 2026, Bo served as Global Head of Digital Manufacturing at a leading semiconductor company, where he established the company's AI strategy and deployment function, including a Singapore-based AI Center of Excellence. He scaled AI solutions into production, delivered measurable P&L impact through fab adoption, and, under his leadership, the company's Singapore 12-inch fab earned World Economic Forum Global Lighthouse Network status.

Previously, Bo spent over a decade leading the Advanced Industries practice in Southeast Asia at a global consulting firm, advising C-suite executives on AI adoption across their operations. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on AI value creation in advanced industries.

Bo holds a bachelor's degree and a PhD from the National University of Singapore. He also conducted postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University.
