Jason Kelvin

Jason Kelvin is a member of our Financial Services practice.

Jason has more than 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor and senior operator across insurance, banking, and wealth and asset management. His work includes directing a full-potential transformation that took a life insurer and wealth and asset manager from sixth to the most valuable publicly traded player in its North American peer group. He has also spearheaded cost-reduction programs exceeding $1 billion, driven customer loyalty gains of nearly 30 Net Promoter Score (NPS) points and set enterprise and M&A strategy for several leading public and private financial institutions. Jason has helped clients deploy AI solutions that drive market-leading customer growth and advisor productivity.

Before joining Bain, Jason spent nearly a decade leading enterprise strategy and the Transformation Office at a Fortune Global 200 insurer, ultimately serving as Chief Strategy Officer during the company’s most significant era of value creation. His direct P&L leadership experience includes doubling the earnings profile of a $500 billion asset management business. Earlier in his career, Jason advised financial institutions and consumer companies on customer-led transformations. He has lived and worked across the United States, Europe, Canada, South America and Asia.

Jason holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and dual Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Queen’s University. An avid skier and tennis player, he is married with two sons.
