Mattia leads Bain's EMEA Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice and is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice.
He joined Bain in 2012 and has focused on large-scale manufacturing and supply chain transformations for both multinational corporations and private-equity-owned companies, helping clients drive operational excellence and full-potential value creation across complex industrial footprints.
Mattia has advised clients across paper and packaging, steel, machinery, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other industrial segments, leading engagements spanning manufacturing excellence programs, supply chain reinvention, cost and net working capital reduction, and technology- and AI-enabled operations.
He has a proven track record of value creation across several industrial transformations, marked by the outstanding exit performance of private equity portfolio companies he supported throughout the transformations.
Before joining us, he spent several years in the paper and packaging industry
He holds an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs (Paris, Turin, Munich), as well as a degree in management engineering from the University of Padua.
