Simon Holm Klange

Simon Holm Klange is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice.

Simon focuses on strategy, transformation, and performance improvement. He specializes in renewables, large capital projects, and advanced manufacturing, with deep expertise in the energy transition, offshore wind, and energy distribution.

Simon has led client engagements spanning strategy development and execution, organizational transformation, cost optimization, and project acceleration across the full value chain. He is a core member of our Capital Projects Acceleration (CPA) team and a co-author of our offshore wind capital projects delivery playbook, working integrated with client project teams to unlock cost and schedule improvements on pre- and post-FID assets.

He also advises clients on strategic M&A and post-merger integration, including buy-and-build platforms in renewables services and structural options for industrial portfolios. His clients in energy and renewables span leading utilities, developers, OEMs, and suppliers, with a primary focus on the Nordic region.

Prior to joining Bain, Simon worked at the Danish Ministry of Finance. He holds an MPP from the Hertie School of Governance and a BSc in international business and politics from Copenhagen Business School.
